Meet Justin aka Nail Locket

Obsessive Painter of Tiny Things…

Justin is a New Mexico born and raised angel who moved north to Denver in 2016. Working in the restaurant industry for many years and behind the bar, Justin decided to begin pursuing another career path a few years back.

Having always been passionate about art and design in all forms, the idea of using nails as a medium for his machinations became that new career path. After attending school and getting licensed, Justin started his apprenticeship at Acronychous right as we said goodbye to 2023.

Continuously inspired by fashion, architecture and patterns, Justin is an attention to detail type of nail technician who finds possible design styles in places you’d least expect. A maximalist at heart, he draws a lot of inspiration from video games, cinema, vintage, victorian wall paper and animation. No idea is too weird, spooky or odd.
